Terms & Conditions - Mail-In MacBook Repair

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our mail-in laptop repair service. By using this service, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

Service Agreement:

1.1. These terms and conditions constitute a legal agreement between you ("Customer") and SKLADCO LLC ("Service Provider") regarding the mail-in laptop repair service.
1.2. The Service Provider agrees to repair the laptop owned by the Customer according to the terms outlined in this agreement.

Scope of Service:

2.1. The Service Provider will perform repairs and services as requested by the Customer for their laptop.
2.2. The repairs will be performed by qualified technicians employed by the Service Provider.
2.3. The Service Provider will make reasonable efforts to repair the laptop within a reasonable timeframe. However, the actual repair time may vary depending on the complexity of the issue and the availability of parts.

Mail-In Process:

3.1. The Customer must securely package the laptop to be repaired.
3.2. The Customer must ensure that the laptop is adequately protected during transit to prevent any damage. The Service Provider is not liable for any damage caused during shipping.

Repair Evaluation and Cost:

4.1. Once the Service Provider receives the laptop, it will be evaluated by the technicians to determine the extent of the repair required.
4.2. The Service Provider will provide the Customer with a cost estimate for the repair, including parts and labor, if applicable.
4.3. If the Customer agrees to proceed with the repair, they must provide authorization to the Service Provider.
4.4. In the event that additional repairs are required that were not initially identified, the Service Provider will contact the Customer to discuss the new cost estimate.

Payment:

5.1. The Customer agrees to pay for all repair services provided by the Service Provider, as outlined in the cost estimate.
5.2. Payment must be made in full before the laptop is shipped back to the Customer.
5.3. The Service Provider accepts various forms of payment, such as credit cards, debit cards, or bank transfers.

Warranty:

6.1. The Service Provider offers a warranty period on repairs performed, which will be specified in the repair documentation provided to the Customer.
6.2. The warranty covers the specific repairs conducted by the Service Provider, excluding any new issues that may arise after the repair.
6.3. The warranty does not cover any physical damage, liquid damage, or any other damage caused by misuse or negligence on the part of the Customer.

Limitation of Liability:

7.1. The Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the repair service.
7.2. The Service Provider's liability shall be limited to the cost of the repair services provided.

Data Privacy:

8.1. The Customer is responsible for backing up all data on their laptop before sending it to the Service Provider for repair.
8.2. The Service Provider will make every effort to protect the privacy and security of the Customer's data. However, the Service Provider is not liable for any loss or corruption of data during the repair process.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

9.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Massachusetts.
9.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Massachusetts.

Amendments:

10.1. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
10.2. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon posting on the Service Provider's website.
